Item Description

This ring carries a rubāʿī (four-line poem) by Omar Khayyam, written nearly a thousand years ago and engraved on this open-ended ring in flowing Persian script. Its message is a reminder worth keeping on your hand: don't dwell on what's passed, today is beautiful.

بر چهرۀ گل نسیم نوروز خوش است

در صحن چمن روی دلافروز خوش است

از دی که گذشت هر چه گویی خوش نیست

خوش باش و ز دی مگو که امروز خوش است

Translation:

The breeze of Nowruz upon the face of the flower is beautiful
In the garden courtyard, the radiant face is beautiful
Whatever you say of yesterday that has passed is no longer sweet
Be happy now, and speak not of yesterday, for today is beautiful

      Evelyn Q. ★★★★★

The Persian engraving catches the light beautifully, and I catch myself reading the poem’s message whenever I glance down. It sits comfortably on my finger despite being open-ended, and the historical weight of wearing something from a thousand years ago makes it feel far more special than its price

      Ruby Q. ★★★★★

The open-ended design means I can wear it on any finger, and I keep catching myself reading the script and thinking about that thousand-year-old message. It’s simple but feels significant, exactly what I wanted as a daily reminder.

The flowing Persian script catches the light beautifully, and the open-ended design means I never have to worry about sizing. It's a small piece that carries a thousand years of meaning, which makes it feel far more special than its price tag suggests.
